Big Tractor Powerheads out to a North East Iowa field with a 170 pto horsepower International 3788 2+2 tractor and AGCO WHITE 8516 CFS 16 row planter planting soybeans. This is a standout and unique planting combination mixing a classic tractor and modern-day bulk fills planter. The International 2+2 tractor was introduced in 1979 offering a front forward engine design and rear articulated cab. The International 2+2 has been nicknamed the Anteater in North America and the Snoopy in Europe because of the nose it has where the engine is mounted. The international 3788 2+2 was built in Rock Island, IL at the IH Formal tractor plant from 1980-1981. Just over 2,400 3788 tractors were built. The AGCO WHITE 8516 CFS planter being pulled by the IH 3788 tractor is planting soybeans. AGCO offered the 8516 from 2003-2013 and it can plant corn, soybeans, milo, popcorn, sugar beets and winter wheat.
