John Deere 9770 STS Combine with regular flex header direct harvesting CC17065, a very early winter canola hybrid from Rubisco Seeds. Seeded in early October with a JD 1790 planter fitted with RRV Canola discs. This hybrid is about 10 to 12 days ahead of local wheat harvesting dates. Hamilton Grain Farms placed this hybrid beside regular maturity Inspiration winter canola to assess relative yield and harvest date as a tool to spread workload and make an earlier start on harvest and double crop bean planting.
